Hello all,

I had my tools for a while now, and some particularly my cordelss stuff, is giving up the ghost, I have different makes of everything and have never really stuck to one brand, but usually like, bosch, makita and dewalt. I'm thinking of buying a cordless kit, with makita in mind, consisting of drill, sds, circ saw and impact driver (also possibly a right angled drill). Have any of you guys done so? I thought it might be easier getting one battery for all and a big carry bag type of thing, rather than lugging different boxes everywhere?

Kind Regards

Tom

If you know anyone going to the states who can bring you some back they are loads cheaper over there. I got a load of the ryobi 18V one battery stuff a few years back - angle drill, 3 hammer drills, detail router, couple of torches, circ saw, wet and dry vac, car batt charger and 6 batteries and all apart from the batteries are still going strong you can even get caulking gun and chain saw in the range. A mate has bosch and that is great and will be what I swap to when my stuff finally bites the dust.

Metal gearbox is something to look for.
