Roof Kit Help

I've managed to get everything else but roof kit and the usual suspects are having problems getting stock to me. So, everything else available might have to use blu tack to stick them to the roof!

Apart from warranties I haven't had a problem with Segen so I'm thinking it would be more sensible to go for Schletter/Schuco after I've used this kit up - any preference???? I'm using K2 at the minute which drives me mad with all the different bits but is cheap and decent quality.

I'm paying £10.50 for 3.4m rail, £4.60 ish for hooks, but often ridiculous amounts for shipping - can be over £250 depending on the number of rails I order (£30 delivery per bundle of 10) even if it's being delivered with panels.

Any thoughts ....

you my thoughts, loads of stock, easy to use, SS hooks are not as cheap, about 7.6 per hook.

Schletter is much easier to work out than Schuco- Schuco have thousands of different parts

Pah, Schletter has more nuts and bolts than Schuco, the only disadvantage to Suhuco is the different module clips for panels - maybe price too if your a tight ---.

Source your mounting kit locally, we get all ours out of our local wholesales. Even 6mt rails. Delivery costs £0. OK we've got to pick it up but we are in and out of the wholesales all the time anyway.

We're thinking of going down this road. Deliveries mess us us most of the time and we've had enough of it now.

Don't think that's an option for us - we're 20 miles away from the nearest wholesaler in the opposite direction from where our work is. Sometimes I wish we lived/worked in an urban area - then again we'd have double the competition so I guess you can't have it all.
