Hello everyone

I am looking to become a fully qualified electrician through the SELECT apprenticeship adult training scheme. I am currently working in the offshore satellite communications industry, however, having a young family, I am looking for a change in direction to allow me to work closer to home.

With two years experience working in the off-shore communication industry and seven within the Royal Marines, I have gained electrical experience and I am aware of the standards expected. Furthermore, I enjoy learning and excelling at new technologies as needed.
I am looking ideally at the Central Belt of Scotland for someone to take me on as a mate/adult apprentice as I believe that this is the only proper way in becoming a fully qualified electrician. I realise it is a long road but can anyone give me advice/tips. I have been emailing all the local electricians my cv and intentions.

Thanks you

Rich
