guys when do i need to use the cable caps, is it just for non rcd protected cables and cables outside zones

Capping is a means of protecting your cables from a plasterers trowel.

For non RCD protected cables and cables outside of safe zones you should use earthed steel conduit or SWA etc.

thanks for that i know what capping is just caps is a term i have'nt herd of
