Hello ive been a domestic electrician for 6 years and have just started a new job, basically i need help understanding electrical drawings we are wiring power and control cables back to panels and interconnections and need help understanding how to read them, anyone know of any useful websites or ebooks i can download to teach myself, thanks

Are they cable schedules?

For a large installation normally just a list:

Cable No. 100 101
Type SWA SWA
Cores 27 12
Source Panel 1 Panel 2
Destination Panel 2 Panel 3
Length M 25 15

Each cable will have a list

Core 1 2
Ref K2/B6/12 K2/B6/13
Term B6/12 B6/13

Make sure you get your self ferule applicators for the core numbering otherwise you’ll have no finger ends left.
