Hi all,
Just a quick one, I want to use an ip rated light switch with a neon indicator to manually ovveride a PIR detector controlling an e27 LED bulkhead fitting. Switch will normally be on for constant power to the PIR but to ovveride it needs to be flicked off and on x2. Or just off.
I've heard neons wired across COM and L1 often cause problems with LEDs and god knows what it would do to the PIR.

Can I just connect the neon in the switch between L1 and neutral rather than the factory setup between COM and L1? This would obviously work but I'm unsure wether the neon would be rated for a full 230v if it's intended to go between live and switched live?

Cheers, your thoughts appreciated!
