no RCD in 3 phase board!

i have inspected a few 3 phase boards, none of them has RCD protection for ring, lighting circuits. I understand that this should be code 4 and not major problem.

but if i decide to add RCD for a ring, how to do that? just put it outside main board?

also any tips for a 3 phase board inspection?

An RCBO maybe

Most 3 phase dist boards will accomodate a single pole RCBO in place of the MCB.

we retrofit the RCD's outside the main board when we do them at work, as most of the boards are ancient and RCBO's aren't available for them

does it need rcd protection as if its a work place its deamed used by profesionals

It all depends on the type of the workplace and whether they have skilled or instructed personel managing the site.
