Tamper Proof Screws

Good Evening to ALL!! CHEERS!!!!
Anyone got any experiance of installing Tamper Proof Screws?
Got a care in the community job on & just found out they are required!!!
Done some research - about £30 per 100 from MK - My problem is: I'm installing satin chrome accessories etc.. Is there a company out there in this big bad world that :

1. make them to match?
2. sell them for a realistic price?

home - used in the past for a variety of tamperproof fixings, and usually reasonable.

There's this too, right off Google, though never used them - so can't comment more - Security Screws | Security Fixings | Security Fasteners | Pin Hex | 6 Lobe Pin | Snake Eye | Shear Nuts | Security Tools from Security & Safety Products - but their prices look reasonable.

Cheers pal, found them myself the other night. No prices on site though. Also they look like pan head type on there pic - i maybe wrong. I've left details for them to contact me.
Really need a good fit & match as clients will probably be autistic (hope i've spelt that right) and apparently fiddle with everything. Don't want them to stand out like a cobblers knob!!!!

Yeah, lol - autistic is spelled correctly.

They also do them in ten packs if you don't need tons of them

Will check them out on Monday pal. I need probably 200 or more, haven't worked it out yet - don't want to start weekend on a downer !!! Not been priced for in original quote - not my mistake, builders, but i'll still have to stump up and hope to get back - usual **** we have to deal with!!!!

We did quite a few prisons and court house detention centres and this came up a fair bit and we found it easier to get a 4mm tap as 4mm screws are easier to come by and cheaper than standard 3.5's

Ask for a variation order if it's builder's mistake mate- that's a clear extra! Otherwise let him know that the budget isn't in the job to supply them defacto - make sure you get the variation in writing though - and then you've got grounds to back charge them cost, time, and so on too.

If it was in the original specification that security screws where to be fitted then it might be a case of fighting it out with the builder to get the money from him as you will not be able to claim from the client as all they will say it is your mistake.

He's pretty good as builders go, so hoping on not getting stung !!!!

Does anyone else know a good source for them?
