I've been thinking about a new tool bag and was thinking about getting a veto pro pak. Does anyone use one and what are they any good.
Cheers Euan

I use an XL. It's tough as nails, and as heavy as a box of them before you add tools. I wouldn't go back to my old Irwin totes, just be aware you'll not be able to skip arm day any more.

They look great, but £200 for a tool bag would get me into trouble at home
But i bet 'er indoors would not bat an eye at a £200 handbag.

I just got a dewalt tote. Finding it much easier than a box, still have it though, a Stanley fat max 24" plastic box. Use if for holding the bulky first fix type stuff and holesaws. All hand tools and gadgets are in the tote.

I bought one recently, having previously scorned spending that much on a toolbag. They really are heavy duty. Recent jump in price has put me off trading up to an xl. The only tools I cant carry in it are my mash hammer and hacksaw. Saves dumping tools out a tote or box when searching for tools. I doubt I could lift a fully loaded xl. Totes usually last about 8 months so if I get the 5 years out of it, happy days.

Ive got an OT-XL and had it for about 4 years now, no sign of fatigue. The pockets are great and the carry strap is actually comfortable. I treated myself to one when i qualified, and was living at home scott free. Go For It?

Haven't regretted getting my Pro Pac XL at all. Well worth the money.

I also pondered with the idea of getting one and eventually went for a Tech LC & TP4 which neatly clips on the side of the bag, wish I'd got it sooner! Fits everything I need plus more compared to my old CK bag.

Thanks guys. What's the size difference between the tech lc and tech xl? Is there much between them? Thanks

Yes I have but thought I would ask people who use them. It's all fine looking on paper but wondering what it's like to use them.

Same height, the LC is about 2/3 as long as the XL. My boss has a Tech LC, carries all he needs for general breakdown works. The extra space in my XL is mostly more specialised tools for install work.

Find the Tech LC perfect for me, all hand tools in the TP4 pouch for when I only need the basics. There's a lot of videos on YouTube with people showing off their bags and what's inside - should give you a clearer view.

Thanks guys got a pro pac xl delivered today and so far it's great. Just trying to get it all set out how I want now

You won't regret it.

Another shout for Veto

Amazing bags, been using for past few years and still look great.

I prefer the backpack for site work, easier on train etc. Then the Tech XL when working out the Van.
