My water supply pipe is plastic but the internal pipework needed bonding because it is in contact with the damp cellar walls. As said, just test it in each case to be certain.
If the entire internal pipe installation is in copper I'd be inclined to main bond it regardless of plastic incoming supply, I think there's something about that in the OSG ?
