OFF to the land of nod, enough laughs for today thanks

It would be a shame to let the thread go cold when there's more beauty's like this! See if you can spot why he can't test the RCD (before reading the comments!)

I didn't see him fix any faults. Saw him find a fault (high zs) and seemingly be massively confused by it. Also saw him turning circuits back on while leaving unterminated wires hanging out of a socket (again)

Well that was painful to watch.

Good grief. I'm afraid that one's tipped the balance. I still like him, but that was more than a bit scary!
1 - 700ohms Zs on a TNS final circuit? Surely straight back to the board to check Ze at that point!
2 - Those RCD tests - priceless! We all have our moments but surely after both of them don't trip, a quick sanity check is in order! Even my daughter saw the issue.

Indeed. He seems to just bumble through things sometimes, with no methodical approach.

I think at one point he get a decent ZS on another circuit, so that points to an issue on the one he's working on.
Who needs a low zs anyway, there's an RCD on the circuit... that'll protect you, apart from he left the job thinking neither of the rcd s was working !!

When your brain is fried you dont think logically, if he would of stepped back and thought about it, he may have realised he was on the wrong side of the RCD terminals.

With that Zs I would have carried a Ze to check all good there.

is he a member of any cps? Why do they not dump him when his antics are on YouTube? Energising bare ends? Really?

It’s like they’re only interested in his member fee and not ensuring his competency at all…

I have seen CPS (Scam) registered Sparks do far FAR worse things than Delroy gets up to

Probably so. But surely you don't think that video shows him in a good light??

Yep, he's in NICEIC, and can be looked up. I thought I recognised some of his outdoor shots, it seems that 20 years ago I used to live a couple of streets away from his registered address in E10, the promised land of Leyton.

I can't possibly imagine how you formed such a view.

Well that was painful to watch.
Sometimes Mate you need a quick jolt to make you see the light, someone mentioned EXPERIENCE, in what pokin and hopin?

Watched up to about 5 minutes

Not great that he earthed the socket but ignored the rest of the circuit, if that's the way he left it
Poke and Hope at it's best

At the start of the video he said "When the fault was there it was tripping, now the fault is cured it's not tripping that don't make sense"
He's right, though it doesn't

He's lucky to have any light at all.

He's registered as a contractor as well so that's a nice healthy fee he's paying NICEIC, his rates are up to £200 hr his lowest rate is £100 hr
Imagine being a customer that has some knowledge, watching him fumbling around like he's just had a good old session on some herbal medication, and it's cost you £500 for the privilege.
