Evening..Just wondering if it's acceptable to run 3 separate consumer units off one 3 phase meter, I have seen 3 consumer units off 3 meters on a 3 phase supply many times but never off 1 meter?

Cheers

The principle is the same mate. The only difference is that the 3 phase meter is reading all 3 phases at once.
You would use individual meters if the 3 consumer units were being payed individually.

Cheers, thought as much!

one thing worth considering.

You should have a Main isolation switch that turns off power to entire property.
this is amongst other things for the the emergency services to safely disconnect ALL electricity if they need to.

having 3 separate ones is not a good idea, you can still run 3 single phase Db from a 3 phase supply but they should all have a common point of isolation.
