I smells a rat, a rather sweet aromatic rat.

No. I give up.

What’s the issue? Obvious the fuse is unsealed and has been pulled. Put back in opposite way according to the sticker.

nothing else obvious

Is that a T&E coming out the bottom of the cut-out?

Was the botom of the cupboard filled with junk by any chance?

Is that a bit of 2.5 twin and earth dabbed into the bottom of the cut-out fuse ?

I have seen 2.5 straight off a meter before to supply a self build extension to supply a new diy consumers unit , but never connected straight to a cut-out...

Never be noticed by the average meter reader. Only the eagle eyes of a professional would pick it up.
What’s it feeding, and are you getting involved reporting it?

My Missus, is local plod, has busted a small weed farm this morning and askd why, when the CU mains switch was off, was the farm lights and extract still on.

Abstraction my dear Watson, abstraction.

DNO's will produce some nice little graphs on electricity consumption on those jobs. Very helpful in providing an evidential picture on how long the meter has been bypassed, loss of revenue and actually how long the grow has been up and running. ;)

Some of these cannabis farms are quite something , fully lined rooms , lots of specialist lighting and proper extraction systems...
Perhaps the installers should consider a job in the trade :)

Just a thought, as new circuits these should be notified, maybe that should be added to the charge sheet. ??

I reckon they are already in the trade or were but have identified a more lucrative niche market ?

All the ones I've seen look like they've been throw together by a blind baboon. Some really dangerous stuff.

More than likely they are making 20 times a day more than what an electrician makes in a week :D

those probe tips are a menace. 2mm of probe end is too little. if you put probes on , say, a 100A main switch, RCD, or MCB, the shields foul on the terminal screw when the probes won't reach the bottom of the X. all my leads have had an insulation haircut. sod GS38.
