Asbestos?

Hi I’ve just been to change a heating element and come across this it was all crumbling away does anyone know if this is asbestos?

It's worth getting yourself on an asbestos awareness training course, the basic one are usually just 1/2 a day and if you shop around you might get a deal. I did the full course, where they train you to work with non licensed asbestos. There are a few kinds some are worse than others so its good to be aware of this also.

It depends on the year of manufacture and the model number. Type the model number into Google, along with the word asbestos.
