Does anyone use the BG stuff? our company uses it and to be honest I'm not a fan, the fused spurs and the 45 amp switches aren't great.

I've just fitted 8k worth of BG nexus screwless flat plate on a job and found them alright. Reason I used them as one of the only manufacturers I could find that had grey inserts instead of the usual black or white.

Generally I have gone right off BGs gear. Had numerous problems with MCBs RCDs and pull cords. Probably other too but cannot recall at this moment - beer! Main issue is to do with their switchgear though rather than their face plates etc.

To be fair, their metal screwless flat plate accessories seem to be decent quality of the few bits I fitted - apart from their USB sockets and their claim they will fit in a 25mm back box, which they will if you are happy to have all conductors pretty much crushed around the edges of the back box.

I lean toward Hager generally, but do stock some BG on the van as the standard square edged replacement.

When it comes to wiring accessories biggest sellers are Click with Mode being the best selling in white plastic with it's nice rounded edge. Their decorative ranges,Deco, Define, Definity and the new Deco Plus are also very well thought after. It's very popular with our guys, well priced and, as forum members you can get an extra 5% off using the Code"CLICKFIVE".
