Hi All,

Oooh! where to start...? Hehe :whatchutalkingabout

I am a 25 year old, Spark's Mate, (although I am practically running certain jobs/sites i.e. working foreman for my boss!) from North London. I have been in the Electrical Contracting field for approx. 4 years now. I have worked on many domestic installs, both full and partial rewires, Loft Conversions, Extensions etc. Very confident in all areas of wiring, first fix, second fix, consumer units and moderately strong in testing and inspecting too. However I still have loads to learn!! Learning is never really complete is it? I say BRING IT ON! I am hungry for all the knowledge that all of you guys can dish out!

I am currently studying a City Guilds 2365 HND in Electrical Installations, hold the Level 2 with all Distinctions which I was very proud to achieve! Am currently on a one-day-release from work at college to obtain my Level 3. Next progression steps are to get my NVQ Level 3 and AM2, then NICEIC.....

I have been part of 3 fairly large commercial Electrical Contracts so far which have provided a great deal of valuable knowledge and experience, namely:

150 qty 2x Bedroom/Kitchen/Living room Flats, and a Community Library in Southall, Greater London.

Most areas of a multi-million pound refurbishment to a John Lewis store in High Wycombe

35 qty 2x Bedroom Luxury Apartments, 19 qty 2x Bedroom Housing Association flats and a Community Medical Center in Kentish Town West, London.

Anywhoooo, I hope that was a good introduction of myself, I can't wait to get some advice and gain some knowledge from yourselves.

Good Evening!

Welcome to the forum, good introduction.
The quantity of information on here would make anyone's brain bleed!, but avail yourself indulgently!

welcome to the forum
were all a bit nutty here (but that normal)
good intro.
you'll gain some good knowledge here and probably get razzed a bit from time to time.
but most of all have some laughs too.
