Hi
I have fitted an outside light will a photocell for an office.
I have wired the line into L terminal neutral into N and line out into LO which goes to light fitting. For some reasom it is not turning light on when it gets dark, was wondering if fitting would cause this.
Any ideas

Faulty photocell? Did it not switch when you tested it by covering the photocell after installing?

Am assuming this is a standard three wire photocell. Line in goes to line in/brown to photocell, line out of photocell/white goes to live on fitting and neutral in and on photocell together on fitting. If the fitting is a high frequency type (electronic, no starter) you will find it may need resetting if lamp was out when power turned on, this is done by turning power off then back on again.

Most photocells have an adjuster where you can adjust the light level at which it will switch on, if it's set too low, it won't work.
