had a R1+R2 result of 1.70 ohms on light cct. Ze is 0.10 ohms, (tnc-s) but measured ZS was 0.96 ohms.

could this be to paralell paths on the bonding?

It probably is, but that still sounds quite high as R1 R2.

Is it a house, if so is it a big one?

3 bed semi

readings ranged from 0.80 ohms to 1.70 ohms highest. still within max zs of 6.18 ohms in osg for type b 6a 60898 breaker. only one light cct for house, garage etc, wall lights.?

just wondered if this was unusual?

As you say it's well within the limit, but I reckon the highest R1+R2 reading I've had is about 1.2, but anyway I wouldn't worry about the lower Zs, it will definately be down to parallel earth paths
