In need of a new tool bag and undecided on what to get. Is the veto pro pac really worth the money? Any other recommendations?

What are you currently using? and why are you not replacing like for like?
Got 3 of the normal xl and plenty of room for a hammer in those. After a backpack model next so may sell 1 which I've never used really
Could you post a bigger picture next time? lol
That's a shame about the facom bag, must admit haven't used the cover. Did they replace the bag for you?
Facom 20" tool bag for me, brilliant bit of kit. 6 yr warranty. I did have a small problem with mine and they sent me a brand new one no quibbles.
sam
They do look good. Local wholesaler has one kicking about..... Might see if he can do me a deal.
for facom?Cheapest I can find is about £150
for facom?
the only problem i had with the facom is i filled it and you have to empty it to get anything out (ive got the whole contents of it and more from it in my facom bag in my veto)
ive broken down and bought a foldable lightweight sack truck XDThis is what annoys me about it. Decent bag but forever emptying it and repacking it.
Cant justify a new one until it's knackered though. My boss has a veto and the quality is absolutely solid. A veto will be my next tool bag when the facom has seen it's day.
Nah the Veto, that's what I thought Andy was on about. Looking back he may of meant the facom bag :6:

i didnt think the xl would fit my hacksaw thats why i got the xxl-fThats the problem I'm having ATM. I think the Veto will pay for itself with time saved searching for tools. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and order one now. I will order the normal one not the tech bag on your advice about fitting a hacksaw in
Veto Pro Pac XL - In Stock - Next Day Delivery | eBay
the xl wont fit a hacksaw thats why i got the xxl-f
i got mine for £170 inc vat
thats good, ill get an xl as well then ^^Ive got a bacho hacksaw and It fits in my tech xl
I did mean the Facom
£150 is a bit much for me. It would be a bit hypocritical of me to get myself a flouncy handbag when I won't spend that much on one for the missus !!!
it just fits, I have a small handsaw and a decent sized spirit level in there too. The internal is about 450mm long.thats good, ill get an xl as well then ^^

Boys and their toys I think my entire toolkit including test equipment and toolbag came to less than that.......i got mine for £170 inc vat......
ah but plundering and pillaging is illegal in the uk MarvoBoys and their toys I think my entire toolkit including test equipment and toolbag came to less than that.
Apparently not if you're an MP. :book:ah but plundering and pillaging is illegal in the uk Marvo
Also although the veto's are expensive,
I think it is cost effective as I used to go through at least 2 or 3 bags a year costing £20 plus so in 5 years I've saved money by buying one!
depends what your after, ive got the xxl-f clossed bag with zips then there is the open model xxl-o then the tech seriesWhat's the actual best veto to get then? Every time I do a search I get a bit flustered with all the different shapes and sizes and then bottle it and say its too expensive anyway!
Barely used if anyone's interested in making me an offer
ill post a pic tomorrow of mine rammedOn the veto website description of each bag it numbers the pockets and approx number of tools you can fit in,
obviously tools are various shapes sizes etc but you'd probably find you can get a bit more in than these figures suggest!
As shanky and others have said it depends on what you need it to do
ie open top is better for jobs where your constantly changing tools,
closed just helps keep the dust out etc
That is very impressive. Extremely deceiving pictures though! You would never guess there was 95 tools in thereApprox 95 individual tools in here (counting hex keys as one)
Although it's a bit unorganised today !
