Discuss Veto pro pac tech xl really worth the money? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I know it sound stupid but every pic I see it never shows a hammer in the bag...I take it one does fit in easily when all the pockets are rammed with drivers, cutters etc?

I have a tech xl and I think it's great. There's plenty of room for a hammer laid in the bottom tray area. They are expensive but I don't regret buying it and I wouldn't go back to another bag now.

In need of a new tool bag and undecided on what to get. Is the veto pro pac really worth the money? Any other recommendations?

i didnt go for a tech cause a hacksaw wouldn't fit in

Facom 20" tool bag for me, brilliant bit of kit. 6 yr warranty. I did have a small problem with mine and they sent me a brand new one no quibbles.

What are you currently using? and why are you not replacing like for like?

Tool box ATM like the one BG engineers have with two trays that stack on top of each other. Did have the facom bag like posted above but the cover started rip at the seam both sides after about 3months of having it.

the only problem i had with the facom is i filled it and you have to empty it to get anything out (ive got the whole contents of it and more from it in my facom bag in my veto)

This is what annoys me about it. Decent bag but forever emptying it and repacking it.

Cant justify a new one until it's knackered though. My boss has a veto and the quality is absolutely solid. A veto will be my next tool bag when the facom has seen it's day.

Thats the problem I'm having ATM. I think the Veto will pay for itself with time saved searching for tools. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and order one now. I will order the normal one not the tech bag on your advice about fitting a hacksaw in
