Can I connect a figure of 8 power lead to fuse spur rather than plugging it in?

Thanks James. So 2.5mm cable as the supply and the C7 lead as the output load? Do I have to earth the C7 lead? Sorry if that seems like a daft question. Thanks

C7 is a standard that has no earth connection.
