Exactly the same as a standard 2 way switch.

Indeed, but that still leaves the question of what load will be connected to the 2 way key switch, and what function they wish them to perform.

Why would you not just replace the existing 2 way switches with the 2 way key switches?? Sounds to me like another pee brained idea to achieve something that needs a bit more thought!! lol!!
