I have just been googling looking for a pic of my cousins hubbies old jumper.
it was knitted and had a dam big traction engine on the front of it  he used to look a right Charlie in it and funny enough that was his name. the guy was and is obsessed with the things, traction engines that is not jumpers. he paid a fortune for it as it was hand made hells bells i could have had a top designer make for the same money.

lol they were all the rage in the 70s and 80s

I acn rememebr telling my mum i aint wearing that or the large baggy binman type jeans she had bought me lol

after that i bought and paid for most of me own clothes lol and i was only a paper lad

they are not quite the same dodgy jumpers we used to get as christmas offerings a few years ago mate are there. I remember being given some real dodgy looking "Pullovers" as a kid. where did that word go? Pull over, not heard that one for some time. maybe the kids in hoodies when they get into trouble should be made as part of their orders to wear a nice knitted tractor pullover

My Mother, when she lived at home with us, used to spend hours upon hours at her "Knitting Machine". She always worked to orders and was always busy.

Perhaps if jumpers are going for such silly money I should have invested my course money into a Knitting machine, patterns and materials :lol

:thumbsup
