Can anyone tell me what 1m of 50mm copper = in weight or the sum to work it out, no scales here

as xmas is comming up and its time to cash up on your copper whats the best prices you have had lately

Tidyboiler will know to the gram and the penny.

About 17.6kg

Hmmm...you might just want to re-think that one!

Just to put some perspective on it...... imagine holding a 1m pair of 25mm tails in your hand......... Still think that's 17kg???

i put in csa instead of diameter. so, 50mm gives 8mm diameter ( using pi r sq). so 1000mm @ 8mm comes out at 0.99lbs. which is about same as archie's grums.

No you don't. Not if it's waste from the normal conduct of your business. You only need waste carriers license etc if you are in any way trading or processing purely in 3rd party waste. There's a LOT of dis-information on this subject.
