Cost of isolating the incoming supply

Hi, Does anyone know how much it costs to get the local authority to come and isolate the supply to a domestic house. While we fit a DP isolator. As part of the contract we are not aloud to cut any seals. Thanks

That's actually a reasonable price if it includes a call-out and materials. They can't be making much profit surely.

Really? That surprises me as my parents live in Brixworth and got one for free? Having said that , I had WPD for me a 4 pole and a 2 pole at the same property in Cogenhoe and they charged me £75 I think.

Yes I've had quite a few fitted round my area on the edge of Leicester, always same price and you get a Wylex REC2 usually. It's easier just to ring the local branch and pay instead of buggering about ringing the energy supplier who may do it free or may charge more. I just add it into the cost of a board change.
