Can someone check my calcs for me, this diversity stuff is mind numbing, read for different books and get four different answers, the figures below are based on the OSG Table 1B


Table 1B Maximum Demand after Diversity
A slot in electric cooker with a total rating of 9kw, no socket
1000 x 9/230 = 39A – 10A = 29A 10.0
30% of 29A = 8.7A 8.7
18.70A
A 7.2 kW shower
1000 x 7.2/230 = 31.30A
Two lighting circuits with 7 tungsten pou on each circuit
7 x 100 x 2 = 1400/230 = 2 x 3.04A = 6.08A x 40% 2.43A
Two standard final ring socket circuits with 32A protection
32A + (32A x 40%) = 32 12.8 = 44.80A 44.80A
One 3kw immersion heater circuit
1000x3 = 3000/230 =13.04A Total
Total 110.27A

Looks fine, Trebor - with the exception of the lighting ccts.
Should be 66% not 40%
i.e 66% of 6amps = 4 amps
