hi to all.
has anyone used the lightmate test adapter?.
i have just purchased one,and on doing the r1 r2 i had a reading of over 1 ohm,so did test again without it,and reading was well below, any ideas?

obviously picking up a reading from the lightmate, should always be the same so just as you would null leads then deduct the value from the final reading.

Was is firmly connected? Did you null leads each time? Have you tried measuring the resistance across it ?

thanks for the reply, my meter has auto null, perhaps i will null it again with the lightmate connected. good piece of test equipment, when i get it to work

Hope this helps Bristollspark:
I have just tested my set Lightmate adaptors on a high accuracy and calibrated micro-ohmmeter, each adaptor introduces less than 200 micro-ohms error (0.0002 ohms) to any R1+R2 test according to my measurements, negligible for all practical purposes.
