Hello to everyone,
Just joined (as I wasnt allowed to read any more posts without joining) and thought i'd introduce myself, i'm 23 from South Wales and currently work as a maintenance electrician. Have been reading up on a lot of topics lately especially on starting up/becoming self-employed. I'm a qualified electrician with all the usual qualifications (NVQ3, 17th, 2391-10, 2391-20,PAT, IPAF, PASMA etc). Unfortunately My company have said I will be made redundant by the end of this year as the sites we maintain are closing.
Look forward to hearing all your great advice and hopefully helping any of you that I can out. No doubt ill have a million questions on becoming self-employed!
