Hi Everyone. New member here, retraining to do domestic electrical work. I've been reading through the forum for a while now so thought I'd join and get involved.

I decided to retrain earlier this year to get away from the office environment and do something a bit more interesting and hands on. So far I've completed the 18th Edition, 2391-52 and I'm mostly through a distant learning 2365 level 3. With the change in rules for registeration, I'm guessing the 2357 NVQ is my next step and then onto the AM2. Needless to say I'll have plenty of questions whilst I get through the courses and hopefully I can be of help to anyone else in a smiliar position.

Welcome in mate…..good luck with the courses, you’ll probably want @Dan @Lou @westward10 who can put you in the trainee section, lot less dangerous in there and you’ll get the best free electricial education money can buy 😂

Hi,
Also new here and in a similar position.
I have some previous experience in the field but no official training (to be a qualified electrician) so I am taking a similar route.
Just about to start the L3 2365. If you are able to offer any insight to the training you took that would be useful.
I am have the luxury of being in a position to dedicate full time to studying for the L3 - so looking for distant learning (for at least some of the material). Considering Tradeskills4u (they seem to be the most closely associated with the C&G body) so if you have had any experience with them that would be nice to know.

Hi Welcome to the forum! You can try @XS Training for some information on their courses. They are long time supporters of the forum :) You can go to their website by clicking the banner on the right!

Take the C&G 2391 test and inspect the course
