Anybody used these? are they as good as wylex or other similar quality makes etc?

Same as the old Square D DOMAE range not bad boards to be honest for the price. Toolstation have some good prices on them fully loaded with MCBs

I find them a bit tight on space, you have loads of space above MCBs, but you can't hide wires behind busbar area. Last one I did didn't look as tidy as I would have liked. Well made and solid though.

Never seen the words 'Wylex' and 'quality' in the same sentence :) Use Crabtree or Hager...

Haha it's a shame about Wylex.........I remember the days when they made some decent stuff. Same is true of a lot of stuff these days. Mind you, how many (or few) parent companies now own all these different brands?

I avoid Wylex these days. By the way, is there a sure way of checking which MCBs are affected? Date code?

Yes, the info is on the Electrium website for the faulty Volex, Wylex and ? MCB's. They won't pay you for swapping them anymore and don't reply to emails or letters. Arsewipes, in my opinion, no idea about customer service.

Anybody have any opinions/experience with the Doepke products? We provide their full range to our solar customers but we've never approached the general electricians market before,

Cheers

Yep, no problems with them. Perhaps sart a new thread if you want more feedback/replies?

Just fitted a single phase board tonight. Overall pretty robust, plenty of room in them if your coming in from the bottom. The font 'door' is the only thing that feels a little flimsy.
