SWA...can it go under decking etc?

Hi. I know SWA needs to be buried in a garden but wondered if a structure such as decking is OK for the cable to run under? Also can not find it in Regs, arghhh! Any pointers please. Finally do concrete posts that hold wooden fence panels count as permanent structures, so could I fix SWA to them? Any constructive help appreciated. Thanks.

yes its fine for decking , although fence posts is a grey area!!! i personally would not use them..!

Yes SWA can go under decking, Yes you can attach the SWA to the concrete post.

as for the fence. i would fix timber in a continuous run , fixed to the concrete , then cleat the SWA to the timber.
