It would appear so, would need to read the draft again mind.
 
So where we can currently get away with not installing RCD's on RFC's in offices powering computers etc because of nuisance tripping... in the next version of BS7671 this won't be the case?
It's presumably because risk assessments are getting used for purposes like this that they are scrapping the exemption.

Yep the exemptions have now been deleted in the 18th draft.

We are still working to the 17th though, I say lets wait and see, it's early days yet, no good preempting the IET they change their mind just like my Wife.

Realise that Middy but many mistakes has been made by preempting.
 
So install more circuits (on new installs) to limit the amount earth leakage on each RCD.

Or cheat and put RCD sockets on each outlet?

Nice try but unless you went to great trouble and expense with type of cable and installation methods the cables supplying said sockets still require 30ma additional protection.:)
