Veto pro pac tech xl really worth the money?

Also although the veto's are expensive,
I think it is cost effective as I used to go through at least 2 or 3 bags a year costing £20 plus so in 5 years I've saved money by buying one!

Which bags are these so I can stay away from them ?
Every time I think about moving to a toolbag from my toolbox, I hear of them falling to bits unless you mortgage the house to buy one, lol.
At £30 for 7 years my toolbox isn't doing bad, just not very organised, lol.

Believe me I've tried lots of bags from cheap to not so cheap and paying triple the money for the xl is worth it,

I've not found any that even come close to them for lasting a single year never mind 5,

with one exception a guy I used to work with had a very old leather toolbag with lots of pockets which he'd had for over 20 years and someone else had before him,

I borrowed it and took it to a few saddlemaker/leather people and they said I'd be looking at 4 to 500 to make one the same!

depends what your after, ive got the xxl-f clossed bag with zips then there is the open model xxl-o then the tech series

best to have a look before you buy one, a place not far from me keeps a couple of each in stock

On the veto website description of each bag it numbers the pockets and approx number of tools you can fit in,
obviously tools are various shapes sizes etc but you'd probably find you can get a bit more in than these figures suggest!

As shanky and others have said it depends on what you need it to do
ie open top is better for jobs where your constantly changing tools,
closed just helps keep the dust out etc

33+ not counting hex or torque keys just in one side of mine just off the top of my head

But it is rammed and I do have to take a couple of things out to access the rest

I've just treated myself to an OT-XXL..... It's huge and struggling to fill it, but I'm chuffed to bits with it.

I've gone the other way and bought the smallest!
The MC,
I wanted it for flying and so have only put in the most used items which has kind of shown up the fact that in the XL pictured before, I'm only using (everyday) approx a third of the tools I was carrying , most other items were being used at least once a week though depending on the task.

All in all, good little bag ideal for someone that is moving around a lot !
It holds enough basic items to do the majority of jobs,
I probably will stuff it with a few more things though!
