Anyone know where I can get cards of fusewire? Don't say B n Q cus they don't sell it, and don't ask why I want some I just do OK, end of story.
 
I got some from CEF not that long ago
 
Thanks Lads was a daft Q but I do need some will investigate your recommendations, might try Home base in the morning. Thanks anyway fuse wire, who would have thought?

Yes try eBay. Some clown will charge £5 for a bit cos he’s pre cut it to the right length for a fuse holder.
No need to buy a full card of it when 2 inches will do

Look you lot. Forget eBay, Pete needs to just pop down BQ again, look again at the shelves in the electrical section, aisle 8 I think it is, far left-hand side next to plug tops & insulation tape. Its there, probably mixed up with the plug tops. ;)

that's 21p dearer than ebay, add cost of fuel, possible pint or 3 on way home, breathalyser.
 
I usually find mine in people's houses when changing boards so I can't help you there
 
Home base sell it either own brand card of it or the arlec brand. i picked some up few weeks back when in there

I keep reels of all sizes from 5A-100A on the van, hardly ever need them now. I could have made you a nice card of wires!

I've liberated the occasional card when doing CU changes but more often throw it in the bin with the old fuseboard these days, then suddenly you need a little bit, as Pete has discovered. :)
