No neutrals should be connected to the Light switches.Im wiring a few lighs in the shed to a small fuseboard and eco flow, 3 light bulbs and 4 switches, ive followed diagrams but I've obviously made a mistake if anyone can spot it, id appreciate it.View attachment 122990
Any good?Without going into detail, and not giving a step by step guide.... maybe an education in simple circuits?
(This is the moment i look at the internet for an easy to follow diagram, and i cant find one!)
Your simple circuit is a source, the Live cable, going to a switch, coming from the switch to a load, your light, and back to the source as a neutral.
As mentioned, there are no neutrals connected to a switch, but they may be present in the box behind.
Just because its blue, it doesn't mean its a neutral. This is where AI gets it completely wrong.
Redo your diagram, ignoring the earths for the time being, showing just 1 switch, 1 light, and we can expand help from there.
I'll happily remove itI was hoping the OP would have come up with something
No need. I’m sure it will give him a clue.I'll happily remove it
