Hi All
Just a quick question, been asked to look at some commercial boards and quote for doing PIR, as i've not got much experience of these do i quote a 3 phase supply,e.g. air con , as 1 circuit or 3.

cheers

It's one circuit, but three ways.
How you list it on the schedule, is entirley up to you.
Have it on one line, have it over three lines, have it on one line, with an arrow down to the third line, have it on one line, with the ditto marks on the other two lines, whatever feels right.
Some would list it as circuit one, and the next as circuit two, others as circuit one, and the next as circuit four. Again, whatever feels right.

I would quote each circuit as one, whether it is single or 3 phase, but maybe put a few bob more on per circuit to average the cost and time out across them all.

A good question, it is something i have never considered!

Cheers.........Howard

I find TP ccts easier and quicker to test than say a ring socket cct. Simply because they tend to be directly connected to the board and the isolater is quick and easy to get access to, i would say i prefer them.
Its always the SP ones in the DB marked lights or sockets or toilet heaters etc ect that take much more time
