Decided to get some practice in on bending and cutting galvanised conduit.

Used the works bending machine. I've used this method from GSH

Everytime I measure and bend, it's 10mm short. Everytime.

Could it be down to the setup of the bending machine? I'm pretty confident I'm not measuring it out wrong.

Also, say the conduit is too long to bend from the normal end, how do you measure the bending point if you are bending it from the opposite way?

if it's too long, turn it round with so the tube is under the former. then bend up instead of down

Great idea! Thankyou
