Go outside down to the roundabout and shout out the passing traffic, shaking your fist at them. That'll warm you up.

Your totally correct the're called woolley Jumpers, at least in yorkshire we have the curtesy of making sure the original owner isn't still using it before we try it on for size :cool4:

Mild as you like up here, 10 degrees so still classed as late summer. Haven't even lifted coat out of the loft yet this year, and judging from long term forecast I don't think I'll be needing it for a while.

it's OK when working. it's when i got nowt on ( workwise ) that i feel cold. i used to go caving in january when we had to chop the ice away from round the sinkhole to get underground.

need to apply some low temp. grease to the wheel bearings. the buggers squeal louder than a gloster fan when they lose.

Thought you'd be used to the cold Tel. I was driving between jobs this afternoon and the aircon in the car was struggling with the heat. I was on the coast road and when I came to a nice quiet spot I pulled over, stripped off and took a run into the sea. I was in the water for less than a minute and it was so cold I was already numb from the waist down so I know how you feel.

**edit** I just read this post back and something doesn't sound right.

Not jealous at all!! Must be ssssooo hard for you when the air con fails!!! This is the view from my "office" today, just before the cold rain hit. Waterproofs on shortly afterwards lol

Winter is a nice time of year, just like summer used to be hot winter now days winter and now for happy Christmas everyone[emoji1][emoji849][emoji35][emoji21][emoji857]

I agree Tel. Its my bloody hands!!! They get so cold. The rest of me is boiling but my hands start turning to ice even in this fairly mild weather. Half framer gloves, a hand warmer in each pocket as a treat every 30 mins and a polite cough for a warm cup of tea generally helps.... but they just get cold again!

Plus everyone wants an outside light at this time of year!!! :frown2:

its nice up here. rarely goes below zero.
and not much snow. where I come from it will snow, dogs will sh*t on it, it will melt a bit, got covered with road gritting mess, more snow, more sh*t, then it all melts down in the spring...
