Hi all, I've just registered to seek a bit of advice and am sure I'll be looking for lots more help soon. I've just bought a plot of land near Hastings that I'll be building a workshop on for personal hobby use - there's no other building on site. I'll be doing some welding as well as having my woodworking machines running. There's currently no electricity supply to the site so am just applying to UK Power Networks for a new connection. I currently struggle when I'm welding in my garage at home as the consumer unit is regularly tripping so should I be asking for three phase supply or should I just be using something like heavier duty cabling to supply my sockets on a single phase supply? Any help and advice really appreciated! Thanks
