VDE Screwdrivers recommendations

I find the Wiha and Wera ones ok, the CK and Bahco ones seemed to break if you looked at them the wrong way. I use Facom Expert at the minute, had my set for over 3 years and no breakages and still in top nick. Very comfortable to work with.

Did lose one of the 10 piece set no more than a few minutes after getting them, that's happened with most sets of screwdrivers I've ever bought. Someone somewhere has a lot of tea stirrers though

CK tools are pretty poor quality Imo , they do the job but the screwdriver heads round much quicker than other brands.
I used to like Bahco and have had several sets over the years, the earlier sets lasted ages without rounding / snapping. But the newer ones aren't as good. I reckon then have cheapened them down for the DIY market to get into the big sheds

I know they aren;'t fashionable but the basic Draper expert Vde srewdrivers that you get in the blue carry box aren't bad.
I picked up a set from Wickes in the Pandemic for like £11 on offer and they are okay for small jobs etc

I know a few sparks who detest interchangeable baldes, but also a few who bought a Wera set and couldn't believe how convenient it was to carry every option in a small pouch.

Can't ever set blades down or you'll never see them again. Keep them in a pocket or some other bugger will get a bonus - they seem to find the near side of tray and become almost invisible.

I've a set of Wera with interchangeable blades that I next to never use, and the Armeg Torque Screwdriver has interchangeable blades that is next to never used used when required.

If you need a PZ1, PZ2 and a 4.0mm flat head I find nothing more convenient than taking those 3 screwdrivers with you, rather than a set of interchangeable ones where you are constantly changing between them.

Sorry, thought you were on the subject of interchangeable stuff, for which blades are even easier to lose than complete drivers.

I like the idea of having drivers to hand, but find competition for pocket space pretty tight. Blades take up little room and a couple of extras can save climbing up & down or walking back & forth.

I tend to find PH2, 5.5 flat and 4.0 flat the most used, but often need a bigger flathead and small terminal blade. Also handy being able to carry +/-, hex and torx blades, on those occasions when they're needed.
