    you didn't do a 6 year apprenticeship since July 2015 when the 3rd amd came in and that was the relevance of the question i rarely get involved in domestic but are having to add accommodation to an industrial unit.

    with bs7671 Amd 3 2015 is a henley block considered as switch gear and therefore enclosable in non ferous I know it doesn't switch But an MCB wont cause an issue in the open position i have never seen a melted Henly and its not the same plastic as the old CUs anyway your thoughts ?

    the first thing to say is that i took the job over and the supply was to come from a closer house BUT that house has a 60A supply a hot tub and a 9.5Kw power shower and it is tenanted, the farm owner has an 80A supply to a barn 200m away. the DNO have quoted 105,000 to put in a new 100A supply...

I need to run a sub main 200M from the service head to a log cabin Super eco all LED etc, so 40A 9Kw max demand if i use the cable calculators i get 185mm cable we all know power networks cover huge distance with 35mm cable on 100A supply...
