Testing high level lighting circuits
Surely part of the verification is inspection of installation methods and to visually check that all connections are sound and correct. Surge protection required?
My full time job is a maintenance engineer, part time, I'm small domestic electrical work. In the factory where I work contractors are installing new circuits to a sub 3 phase board. Rcd has been installed after the breaker although I know you can buy rcbo's for this board. Nothing wrong here...- Cottsyboy

Megger mft 1553, continuity all over the place.
Dear all. Does anyone know who can repair my MFT, continuity not stabilising and fluctuates. I know it's the banana connection for the leads as this is a known fault, mine has been replaced / repaired every calibration. No longer supported so parts not available. How many eicr in a day
I'm an EICR a day man up to 4 bedroom, if it's a 4 bed detached garage with an extension then I go for two days. I have every accessible socket opened and checked, light fittings wiring checked and loads of visual before my MFT comes out? The amount of times I've found crap light installations...- Cottsyboy
