    I have company logo on shirt, I wouldn't go for scheme logo though. A mate of mine ended up changing schemes because the one he was with couldn't fit him in for an assessment for 4 months! Put a bit of tape over the embroidered logo on his polo shirts.

    NVQ's are based around actual work, the idea behind them being someone who'd been doing a job for 20 years with no formal qualifications could obtain the qualification just by showing competence and knowledge. Unfortunately because there is money to be made, every Tom, Rick and Larry now expects...

    It does, but I gained a lot whilst working on the electrical side. Worked several days a week for several years. Encountered a lot, built up experience and competence. I certainly learnt more in the field than I did at college. College was the paperwork.

    interesting.... I know I haven't had anything like that, but I do use a pop up blocker and an ad blocker through Chrome.

    Had similar on Christmas Day. Phone went, cooker wasn't working. Couple of pictures later and some twit had caught the isolation switch. Didn't charge, day after boxing day a knock on the door, as I'd saved dinner they'd saved me a bottle of single malt!

    as daft as it sounds, yup. I kept getting similar a few years ago whenever I went on a car forum I was a member of. The app had somehow hijacked the browser just at that page. In the end I traced it to a crappy little app I used to track exercise. Once deleted it stopped.

    I'm on the path now, even with experience in the Electronics, Data, Telecoms and Domestic/Light commercial I still opted for the full 2 years worth of Level 2 and 3. Level 2 was very easy for me, Level 3 was a little bit better, made me think more because I've done very little with 3-ph systems...

    Agreed, I count myself very lucky. I had a few years working for a spark on the side of my day job, he told me I 'was wasted fiddling with phone cable" (even though he still passes his phone work over to me) and to go to college to get qualified which I did.

    It's not what they call a "recognised apprenticeship"it's unofficial, not given a provider like JTL and not audited and often you don't get any remuneration.
