    Thanks for responding. If I drilled to the right of the modem box, that would be vertically in line with the light switch on the other side. Could the wire for that switch be passing there? Or would it come down from the ceiling?

    Ah I see. I'll take the old one to the store to make sure I get the right ones in that case. I should've actually asked about the cause. Since the light was on for a brief second before blowing, I assume it was one of the bulbs in that bedroom which caused the issue? They could be cheap crap...

    Amazing, thanks Telectrix that was it. Maybe I should've figured that out from the arrow myself, I just assumed any markings were related to the profession! This is why forums like these are genius. Could've quite easily called out a professional for something so trivial I swapped those fuses...
