    I did contemplate a FCU, and thought about the isolation issue. But that only lasted a second!!! LOL No honestly a FCU would be an idea rather than a wiska box on the back to back of the socket.

    hot tub about 11Amps. So in theory if its just a double socket i could get away with 2.5mm 3c armoured. no FCU. and yes it has RCD of course! Its coming off the kitchen ring as its the only nearest power supply. i will put a single socket on it though as i dont like the idea of them plugging...

    i just looked up the IET it states a domestic dwelling or similar up to 100A. So that would say that its sutible. Would you take IET as gospal. im using easy cert but an older version maybe things have changed over the years.? Thanks for mentioning this and i can use a copy of the IET...

    They are mains fed 240v They are also cheap Chinese fittings and you wont get spare parts like long leads. So only way to get it mains fed is with a JB or crimps or equivalent.

    Hmm... don't look too promising, does it? three men I know started a wholesale together but they all had the background. started small in a cheap unit and grew quite quickly. but as mentioned they had the experience and know-how. also customer base already.
