    I'm a maint elec too but do very little electrical work, most of the installation work is contracted out so any production losses caused can be blamed/costed to an external company and at an estimated £30k loss per minute downtime I can understand why.

    They're both 75 ohm co-ax so should be OK, have you checked the connections for a strand of the screen touching the centre conductor, I've had it happen to me before.

    Fluke T5 or T150?

    I use a T5-1000 at work (industrial maintenance), got everything I need for front line fault finding & monitoring. There is a clip/slot in the back to hold one of the probes for use and 2 more to store them in. If you get one, buy the matching holster too.

    No chance, the interview day I attended started at 0730, by 0800 4 had been sent home as unable to provide proof of indentures, certificate of craftsmanship etc.
