    Intercom system

I'd check the specific manufacturers instruction as some require all cables to be taken to the front door panel and connected there (I.e. 6 cat-5e from each of the flats, 1 to door lock, 1 to timer & supply module situated within the landlords supply area). I'd also check to see whether the...

I'll be using SWA cleats if needs be, but didn't know if others had used / bought these so there is 1 fixing etc. Sent ... using the force!!

    Incoming tail retaining clips

I'm due to extend the tails as I need to dropped the CU by 1.5 metres (from above door to 1350 height for elderly couple). Normally I'd use cleats to hold the tails back, but I didn't know if we could buy similar cleats to the DNO as they have 1 fixing for both tails)? Sent ... using the force!!

    Incoming tail retaining clips

Does anyone know where you can buy clips for the incoming tails like the DNO use (figure of eight design)? If not, what do you use to hold them back (SWA glads)? Sent ... using the force!!

    New hoover - suggestions

Using my Karcher on the chasing machine leaves a sand storm in the room and takes days to settle - much to my annoyance when I had this experience! Lol

level 3 NVQ electrical installation portfolio

I've used OneFile myself. Are you paying for the NVQ elements yourself or are they through a college etc. If at college they should provide you with support. If you're looking to self fund in the future contact the company to see what they require as you may only require 1 or 2 site visits and...

    New hoover - suggestions

Have you boys with Henry's use this attached to a chasing machine? If so, does it work okay (my Karcher Wet & Dry vacuum is good for cleaning up normal debris, but blocks immediately when attached to my chaser)?

    Another random question

Similar thought process! My concern with a time delay RCD in the house is that all circuits would then be time delayed in the dwelling (hence my query about making the garage a TT system)?

    Another random question

They'll just have to remember to leave the back door unlocked then! Lol Another question then ... If the garage is separate to the dwelling how do you supply this and on what type of earthing system (I.E. TN in dwelling and a TT for garage)?

    Another random question

If the garage socket & outside socket were incorporated as 1 ring final circuit why couldn't you just add a FCU for the lighting to be down rated?
