    My take on it is that a job isnt truly finished until all paperwork done etc so assuming you finished install 4 or 5 weeks prior you aint actually finshed till notified so just put that days date on it. Works for me

    You could point out that hager switches have a neutral termination on their light switches. I cant see any problem with this method and use it most of the time myself.

    I would recommend asking your electrician to come back and discuss your concerns with him... i prefer to use mcbs that are branded the same as consumer unit as most electricians i know do. You need to take this up with your electrician.

    I had a similar problem with customer wanting receipt... he wanted it for warranty purposes so i asked wholesaler to give me a copy of advice note which states date of purchase but obviously has no pricing on it... you could always try this..
