    Called by customer to help a flat was being part rewired after a flood - the chap doing it hasn’t come back - spent half a day trying to figure out ring main cables and sort out rerun cables - anyway found 3 crimped joints new onto old cable this is one of them …… had several joints like this…...

    MEM RCD/MCB tripping during night

    Hi Following up I did ramp test 21mA and earth leakage monitored - had 6.4 on the ring circuit Rcbo and overall at meter tails 11mA - I am fitting and new box next week as well doing some other tests to prove the point - I spoke to an SSE engineer who denied everything
