    DIY Stepper motor output reducer

In which case don't move the platform/head by hand. The unit should be under software control and you can use one of the fast goto GCODE commands to move the platform/head. Alternatively you could use M18/M17 to disable/enable the motors as required before moving the platform/head. Using...

    DIY Stepper motor output reducer

Not sure what motherboard you using here, most folk use something like an arduino with a "cnc" v3 shield and stepper drivers like A4988 or one of the newer Silent TMC2xxx drivers that support microstepping. Do you have a particular need to design this from scratch, IE needing more than just XYZ...

Worcester Boiler and Uponor underfloor heating

As above, just be aware that the actuators on the manifold may be DC operated (12V or 24V). Depending on what the UFH stats are connected to you may need a couple of contactors to control the actuators (one for each of the two UFH zones).

    Swa bonding, what method.

If it's a PME supply then 16mm min for the earth and 10mm min for any bonding needed (can require up to 16mm for bonding if Ze > 0.35 by agreement with DNO, up to Ze of 0.50 if memory serves correct).

Landlords certificate Earth bond to Gas

Part of his/her remit is to check the bonding, here's a snippet from a recent one. Note that a Gas safety cert is required an EICR is advised only.

    Chiller Tripping MCCB

Out on a wee bit of a limb here, but Is it possible that you're getting any condensation anywhere it shouldn't be causing a dead short? You'd only need a couple of degrees temp differential to get condensation.

No main bonding seen but good continuity.

One other minor comment, can't see mention of the type of earth sys; if it's TNC-S then those 6mm should be min 10mm if indeed they are main bonding conductors.

    underfloor heating on economy 7

Can still be done like that. Often in flats with no mains gas for example. Usually economy 10 these days ... but watch the suppliers meter as sometimes there are only four tails and not five; so you then need a timer to control when the heavier current users chime in (often via a contactor...

    New Cooker Cable

The butyl has stranded cable not solid core so handles the heating from the current better. The butyl is also more suitable to the environment (grease/oil etc). Wouldn't use it on an oven install but usually do for a cooker.

    New Cooker Cable

If not specified in the manuf instructions, then something like 4.00mm 3183TQ should do. Most manuf specify one of the HORxx type cables though so have a read of the installation instructions.

    New Cooker Cable

Are you asking for cable for the supply circuit to the cooker outlet or from the cooker outlet to the cooker? If the latter the manufacturer will often specify it (and occasionally supply it).

CU with a Left Hand Main Switch

Or install a rec2 isolator before the CU (assuming you have room) then "extending the tails" is easy....although they are plastic :stuart:
